venison goop
Venison Goop

1 TBSP lard
3/4 lb venison burger
1 Pckge Beef flavored Ramen noodles
1 can Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup
1/3 large loaf French Boule (soft crust round loaf French bread)

feeds 3-4 people, or one meal for me.

Heat 8" cast iron fry pan, with lard on low heat.
crumble in venison burger, cover.
cook venison through, turning once.
set pan aside, uncovered.

in medium sauce pan,
Cook Ramen noodles using 1 1/2 cups water, instead of two.
Overcook, just past "el dente"
Add Mushroom soup, stirring constantly to prevent scalding.
Remove from heat once soup is thoroughly heated and mixed with noodles.

Slice French Boule into 3/4" slices and lay on top of cooling venison.
Add Ramen flavor packet to soup mixture. Mix in well.

Lay bread slices in deep serving dish, (pie pan works well)
Using spoon or large fork, lay venison on top of bread.
(leaving any water/lard in fry pan)

Cover venison/bread layer with noodle/soup mixture.
Serve hot.

(ok, I lied, I could only eat about 2/3 of this afore I was totally stuffed. LOL)
