I then moved into the warehouse, where I was responsible for receiving product ingredients, stocking those ingredients, disbursing those to production crews, and checking those back into stock. Supervisor: Kevin Bucy
Dept: CSR/Tech Support/Quality resource
Site closure
Approx $7/hr – $11/hr

I began my employment with Stream in the very first class for CSR, supporting a well known printer manufacturer. I had asked to be on a tech support team, but I needed a job, and I took the CSR position as it opened several weeks before the tech support positions opened. My ability to quickly discover and resolve customer issues impressed management, and I was quickly moved to a tech support position when it opened. My ability to troubleshoot technical issues also impressed management and I was quickly moved into a Mentor position that required that I assist agents with issues rather than with customers issues directly. Although one of my duties as a Mentor was to handle issues escalated by the tech support team. During the Mentor phase of my employment, I designed and implemented computerized solutions for managing those escalated issues. When Stream was offered a contract to support our client directly with super escalated customer and product issues, I was moved into that team almost immediately. Shortly thereafter I was promoted to secondary lead for the Quality team.
While in that position I developed and implemented two software tools to facilitate managing issues within our internal structure. One of those tools was for our client directly. A database system designed to allow a special team to own a customer issue until resolution. The other was for management of another clients team. Then the site closed.

1999 – 2000

I worked as an independent contractor making outbound promotional calls for several Time Share concerns with a local businessman.

1993 -1999

TRIPP LUMBER CO.
MISSOULA, MT

I began employment as a forklift operator. I safely operated several forklifts for 3 years before being offered the position of lumber grader. During those three years I was responsible for maintaining tally sheets for all lumber that I moved or that was processed by the planer crew. I became 2nd in charge, assistant supervisor, and was responsible for the work performed many times while the supervisor was absent on vacation or because of injuries.

1992 -1992
TRICON TIMBER
ST REGIS , MT

At this job my duties were two-fold, the first, to clean the mill of lumber chips, sawdust, debris of any kind from the floor and equipment. Secondly I was also required to act as a security person for the plant and surrounding area. I worked alone, with no supervision as my duty hours were weekends and late night shift, after the plant had closed down.
I used brooms, scoop shovels, carts and lots of muscle. Sometimes a log or heavy log piece had fallen from the equipment and would have to be moved in order for me to do my cleaning job. This required me to “muscle” it out of the way.
As I worked alone, with no one else in the plant, it was very necessary for me to maintain a high level of personal safety.

1991 – 1992
“40” RENTALS
FEDERAL WAY, WA

I worked as a service technician, repairing and servicing lawn and garden equipment, such as tillers, lawn mowers, lawn sweepers, tractors, blowers, edgers and trimmers. I also repaired and serviced electrical motors, appliances such as; dehumidifiers, electric, propane and kerosene heaters. I worked on airless paint sprayers, concrete tools, drills, piano dollies, common household maintenance tools and equipment. Any needed part that was not stocked, I ordered for the repair of the equipment I was working on.
I used acetylene and arc welders, hammers, wrenches, socket sets, ratchets, drills, pliers and multimeters. The work required on each piece of equipment was different. Some times a part was broken and needed to be replaced, or rewiring was needed, cleaning and tightening was expected.
At times I assisted in repair and service of large construction equipment. I learned many “tricks of the trade” in repair. I operated most of the large equipment before it was rented, to make sure it would be serviceable in the field.

Jim was very knowledgeable about his business but could no longer do the physical part of the jobs. He often left me in charge of the crew or alone to complete a job. I worked with chain saws, sweepers, blowers, lawn mowers, pruners, trimmers, weed eaters, edgers, shovel, rake and hoe. I loaded and unloaded manure, top soil, plants, trees and rocks. I cleared brush, trimmed hedges, planted trees, bushes, seeds and bedding plants.
