A Friday road trip to Odessa

My mother has been working furiously to finish quilts for the annual quilt show In Odessa, WA.

Friday was the day to gather up all her work, and that of her friends and deliver them for the show  Next weekend 4-26 thru 4-28.

This is one of her quilts, (not in the show),Quilt

I took my Nikon B700 and my Lubitel Universal (with a 645 mask) loaded with B&W.

The nice lady, Charlene, welcomed us into her home so the massive load of quilts could be properly registered for the show, with receipts, and I wandered about her property and clicked a few shots with the digital.

In no particular order,

For lunch, we stopped at a local Eatery, Chiefs Bar and Grill, where I saw this lil tyke staring at the pies cookies and pizza in the display.

(If you stop in, you can see this same kid, standing there patiently salivating over the tasty treats inside) 🙂

We headed back home, and we stopped, (because I was driving, and I could)

I saw this abandoned farmstead, and the light was right!

There was ONE more stop, and I found this lovely bloom waiting to be captured in digital pixels.
