Let’s COMBINE those technologies!
Build floating blocks that anchor to the ocean floor, connect those blocks with hydraulic rams that pump fluid to turn generators, activated by waves.
Under those blocks, tidal turbines that operate as the tides and currents work against the anchors.
On top of those blocks, set wind turbines to catch the ocean winds.
On top of those blocks, set solar panels to soak up sunshine and generate power.
Inside those blocks, living space for people who build, maintain and service all those systems, in some of those blocks businesses to support those people.
We could build those blocks from concrete. We could use water as the hydraulic fluid.
The systems don’t have to be the absolute best efficiency, the quantity of power available in combining those four technologies in this manner would produce enough energy, even at low efficiency to replace all the coal, nuclear and gas electric power plants.
The problems is not generating enough power, the problem is storing the power produced until needed. The most efficient storage method is not batteries, but gravity., Use excess power to pump water into reservoirs,
Then when power is needed, let gravity push that water back down through turbines.
