The other night, someone mentioned “chem trails”, and began speaking of secret government programs that use chemicals released by jet aircraft to do nefarious things to humans, mind control, pacification etc, whatever.
I scoffed at the mention of these matters and I may have hurt her feelers a bit. Perhaps I should have just stayed silent. However I happen to KNOW what those mysterious trails behind jet aircraft are and I felt that I had to stop her from degrading a serious discussion with nonsense.
I’ll get into what those trails REALLY are after a bit, but first I’d like to discuss the possibilities behind the thinking that they are some ominous secret program by the government or whatever.
First let’s consider the possibility that some agency, whether the airlines, government FAA or whatever, (let’s include aliens here as well), have devised some chemical agent that when released into the atmosphere by jet aircraft, has some deleterious affect on some portion of life. Let’s not consider what reasoning might be in play here for this activity, we’ll just assume that this secret program exists.
Let’s begin with a simple question.
If this really is a *secret* program, then why do these trails appear during daylight hours? If it really was supposed to be secret, it would be apparent that the only time that these chemicals would be released should be during hours of darkness. That way the secret could be kept secret. No one would know, and we would not even be discussing this.
Next let us consider the realities of a *secret*. Have you ever told someone a secret, then to your horror, found out that in a short time, EVERYONE knows all about your secret?
That is the reality of secrets, and if we consider the physical realities of releasing chemicals by airliners, then it should be extremely obvious that in a very short time the secret would no longer be a secret at all.
Consider that in order to release chemicals from an airliner, in flight would require some mechanical metering equipment, holding tanks, electrical, hydraulic mechanical components to do the actual release. Someone would have to make those components, someone would have to sell them, someone would have to buy them, someone would have to install them and someone would have to maintain them.
When I lived near Seattle, I knew a bunch of people who worked at Boeing. They built aircraft. None of them had ever had occasion to make, sell, buy, install or maintain any such equipment. the reason of course is simple, there IS no such equipment being made, sold, bought, installed or maintained!
The folks who work at the airline companies, who do maintenance on those aircraft number in the tens of thousands. If in fact such equipment existed, SOME of those people would HAVE to know about it and of those people SOMEONE would talk about it. None of them have, EVER!
So what exactly are those trails? Just water. Yep. Our atmosphere has a huge quantity of water in varying degrees of density evaporated and just floating around. You can see this water vapor as clouds sometimes. When a jet engine encounters a swath of water vapor, it is compressed in the engine and then released as exhaust. The water vapor then condenses and becomes visible for a while until it evaporates or dissipates.
There is no “chem trail” it is merely a water vapor trail.
Uh oh, the aliens are trying to get into my head again, I better put on my tin foil cap.
