I named this feral cat Simon, last year.
However, recently Mom mentioned that Simon seems to be pregnant.
Today I noticed that she is no longer pregnant, which means that she has a litter of kittens somewhere. I am designating their birthday as 4/20/19.
I have not been able to get closer than about 10 feet from her. That is only when I am putting out food for her.
Now that I know she is a fertile female, I need to get much closer, and I need to actually capture her, so I can take her in for neutering.
I also need to get close enough to her kittens to get them in for neutering as well.
It will be my wildlife challenge for this year.
On a lighter note, Denise, the mule deer is NOT pregnant, and seems to be committed to remaining a friend, some days, she prefers just to get some huggins rather than getting fed. She really likes to be brushed.
